Not necessarily; you can also rent a movie on a pay-per-view basis without subscribing to the Premium plan. Simply click on the poster of the movie you want to rent, and once you’re on the movie’s page, click “Rent.”
The Premium plan gives you access to the “Subscription” catalog as well as three CinePasses per month, allowing you to rent three movies of your choice from our “À la carte” new releases.
You can also purchase CinePasses in packs of 5, 10, or 20. Buying them in bulk reduces the cost per movie.
